Maybe a customizable option with select color pallets to pick and choose from would be nice.

This! It would be great for the white header with the upcoming turn at the top of the screen to not be nearly so tall. I always find myself feeling like I can’t see the map far enough ahead of myself, and trying to minimize it further even when it’s already minimized fully.
The footer could be shorter and more compact as well.
